Da 12-24 on full frame, vignetting series

Dear all,

I just posted about my experience with the DA 12-24 on the K-1

and MightyMike suggested I could post a vignetting series, which you can see below.

For the relevant focal lengths I also overlaid the 1:1 and 3:1 aspect ratios that you might want to use.

As Ari has shown in the above-linked thread, the sister lens Tokina 12-24 has a different rear baffle and shows no "secondary" vignetting, something that affects the Pentax version from (I'm guessing as they merge into one another) 20mm onwards and can actually become really prominent in photos at 24mm.

I'm tempted to get my size 000 screwdriver out, but the baffle also serves as protection against dust ingress and bending of the rather thin aperture lever...

These have been shot with the lens set at infinity, with no correction whatsoever. Please note that the lens does not seem to transmit the 17mm focal length individually so "16mm" presumably covers the range from 15.6mm to 17.4mm or similar.

Anyway, I hope this is useful to some.

make sure to zoom in to see the crop lines at 14 and 15mm
