From the D-Lite manual, "SLR Camera Sync speeds: SPEED mode up to

From the FAQ, the D610 isn't supported in SPEED mode. 1/160th is within the STANDARD spec, however.

As the Skyport Sync manual states, "Standard” triggering mode synchronises SLR cameras up to 1/200 s." Key phrase: "up to." Again, at 1/160th, strobes, transmitter/receiver and camera are all functioning within the normal range.

I will suggest you read the FAQ on the Elinchrom website and download a copy of the manual if you haven't already.

Rest assured, sync speed considered, if you avoid bright ambient light, the strobes' flash duration of 1/800-1/1200 s is brief enough to stop all but very fast movement.

Finally, if you bought the equipment used, be sure to reset everything back to factory settings. If you can't eke out that additional 1/40s, at the very least, everything seems to be working within spec. If in doubt, contact Elinchrom customer support. Best of luck!

Thank you for this reply.
