Please have a go at processing this M42 in Pixinsight or any other way

Hi all,

This image consists of 360 x 30-second Nikon raw files shot with an unmodified Nikon D5500 and a Nikon 300/f4 ED IF lens on a clear Moonless night at -30 C so the sensor was probably not too hot. The images were stacked as NEFs in DSS so they are in a linear format (not stretched).

I used 30 darks, 100 bias and 64 flats from a previous imaging session in the Fall.

I am interested to see what folks can make of this image using various processing tools and methods whether in Photoshop, rnc-color-stretch, Astro Pixel Processor or something else, and I am particularly interested to see what can be done with it in Pixinsight.

Here are two examples of what I was able to produce in APP using stacked 16-bit TIFFs:

2. https://www.flickr.com/photos/rudypohl/25870608218/in/photostream/

Below are three formats of the file uploaded to my dropbox public account.

Thanks,
Rudy
