Does the white balance drive you crazy?
2

I've been shooting with Sony A6300 and A6000 for a few years now and I have some very good glass (Zeiss 24 1.8, 16-70 F4, Sony 10-18) and a lot of adapted Canon lenses using various adapters.

While I really love the Sony system for the size, weight and capabilities, one thing that drives me nuts is how wrong the white balance can be.  For example, earlier today I was shooting with a flash system (Godox TT685 + X1Ts) and I noticed all my flash pictures had white balance shifted about 1000 kelvin.  I brought out my grey card and did a custom balance.  It went from 5950 using AWB, to 4760 Kelvin using the gray card!   I notice this in about 70% of my photos I take indoors.

Does anybody else have this problem with consistently inconsistent white balance?  I noticed this on both my retired a6000 and my current a6300 mainly indoors.  I do shoot raw and sometimes raw+jpg, but I find I need to shoot raw most of the time due to the bad white balance.

I have checked my AWB settings and don't have any color shifting turned on.
