80D Live View lens-specific focus issue...?

I just got a new (to me) 80D. I attempted to take a self-portrait using it with my Tamron 60mm macro lens on a tripod, and after some awful images and a few more controlled tests I found that it backfocuses horribly, if it acquires focus to begin with (and it's not inclined to).

Here's the weird part: it focuses through the viewfinder without a problem. I had already done test shots and settled on a microfocus adjustment of a measly -2, and I have no complaints about it on my T1i.

I have also tried my other three lenses - Sigma 30mm Art, Canon 55-250 STM, and Tamron 10-24 VC - all of which focus flawlessly in Live View.

I'm just... I'm baffled. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?
