Fuji XT2 vs Nikon D750

Based on a question about Fuji's IQ, I thought I would do a fairly stiff test and compare it at the same ISO to a Nikon D750. I applied the same processing to each (see below) but equalised overall brightness and contrast as much as I could.

Both from RAW developed in ACR (default settings) followed by Smart sharpen in PS (Gaussian, radius 1, amount 100). Local SS was applied to the moss patches in both cases.

There are differences - Fuji has slightly more luminance aliasing on lettering, Nikon has colour moire (look at the white on black text). Fuji doesn't resolve the cotton reels quite as well, and there are detail and aliasing differences in the etching on the left, but overall the differences are marginal and they look almost identical zoomed out to 50%.

Adobe certainly do keep colour moire to a minimum, and overall, I don't think the detail levels are significantly different.
