Panasonic g7 multicam issue sd format name

I'm using a pair of Panasonic g7s to do multicam and the editing software cannot distinguish clips from camera A1 and camera A2. So the editing software thinks the clips all come from the same camera. I found the issue... the editing software distinguishes the clips from the name of the sd card. Both camera A1 and camera A2 named the sd cards LUMIX. Renaming the sd cards solved the problem.

The problem I've having is anytime the SD card is formatted it renames the SD card LUMIX. Is there a setting in camera that will change the default name after reformatting?

Is there any other solutions? The only two thoughts is to format in camera and rename the sd card on a computer and reinsert the card into the camera, which is a pain... or format the sd card on the computer, which from my memory is less than ideal compared to formatting in camera.
