Time to revive the Canon Talk Forum mini-challenge.

The topic is "Children". They can be your children, your neighbours, the toddler you babysit, a grandchild or just a cute kid in a playground!
Here are the rules...

I give you a topic and an image to get you going. You post an image. I choose the winner. The decision of the judge (me!) is final. The judge is not eligible. The winner then chooses the next topic, judges the winner and passes on the baton to that person.

It's not so much about going out and taking a photo with the subject in mind (though by all means, do that if you want), it's more about looking through your pics that are already at Pbase, say, and posting one here that fits the topic. Any picture you've taken is eligibe regardless of time taken and camera. You can do all the post processing you want.
Here are some guideline:

When posting your picture change the subject to your picture title.

Either embed your image in the thread or supply a link to it. And how do you embed a picture? I'm glad you asked: while your photo on pbase (or any other web site) is open, copy the URL address from the address box on your tool bar, then paste it into your reply thread. Add a .jpg extension to get the photo to show up. Click on preview to make sure it's what you want. Or check out http://forums.dpreview.com/ ... ... read.asp?forum=1009&message=5076932
Provide any additional information you want.

Only one picture per person!

Please limit the size of your entries to conserve bandwidth.

As a show of courtesy, and to save bandwidth, please remove the original post when replying, so you don't bring back any previous photos.

Have lots of fun and thanks in advance for participating. The challenge will run for 7 days (ending Wednesday Sept. 17 Australian eastern standard time).

I like the thread alot :-)
Children is so natural in photos, not like adults who must fix their
hair and stuff before they are willing to be taken a shot of.........

PS: She had catched a cold, so I coud use PaintShop to fix
that under her nose, but natural is natural.

I sure had to hunt to find a pic to enter. All four of my children are grown and no grandchildren yet ;-(

This shot is my oldest son taken 30 years ago with a Konica Autoreflex T3.

Pops, didn't you know that your children are your children no matter how old they are? My "baby boy" is now 6ft 2inches tall, towers over me, he's in training to be an army officer......and I still call him "possum". Not in front of the troops though!

Gorgeous, gorgeous photos......beautiful children! Nice to see so many entries so early on!

My Daughter Olivia on a roadtrip to yellowstone.

My youngest daughter Tina, "helping" her Mommy make CC cookies. Not the most professional pic, and the subject is way out of focus... but the look says it all.

I had a lot of trouble choosing just one pic... is there a limit to how many I can submi. I promise to liimt myself to a few (dozen)?
