Old SD800 IS
2

I just found some old photos taken with my SD800 IS in 2008.  I haven't used it for awhile, and I'd forgotten what a good little camera this is.....I still have it, in fact, still works just fine.  7.4 MP with a 1/2.5 CCD, 28-105 zoom f/2.8-5.8.  It had what Canon called a "Real Image Optical Viewfinder", and this was one of the last P&S to have a viewfinder for a long while.  This camera didn't mess up the exposure too much, I got a high percentage of good shots from this camera!  I had/have one battery, and it seemed liked it could take a LOT of shots before needing a charge.  On vacation, I would shoot all day and charge the battery overnight, never ran out.  Which makes me wonder now, as I contemplate some sort of "new" camera to replace my S95, am I complicating things too much by looking for more complexity in a camera?   Unfortunately, with pretty much all the photos I took with this camera, I didn't set the photo quality high enough.
