Re: G9XII after G9X - got some problems

I should have clarified in the beginning that the problems 1 & 2 only affect JPG and what I see on the camera screen - what I get in RAW is pretty much identical to G9X.
The fine details option only changes sharpeness for me - the colors stay the same. I'm able to make the colors look closer to reality using the "WB correction" option, but still they are not as accurate as on G9X.
The bigger problem for me is #3 - that zoom noise as I can't seem to fix it (removing it in the recorded videos would be too consuming). Switching to MF, which supposedly helps in G7X, makes zero difference here. And what I fail to understand is how come both cameras produce it (I can clearly heart it outside on my G9X while zooming and it sounds the same) and the mic positon is the same, but that sound is never present in the G9X videos, like there is some filter removing it or smth, at least on mine as I found some videos made with G9X where it's there, as well as a video made with G9XII without it.
Fine detail does, change the base colors, I was trying to hint at that, it's mild.

"The default [Saturation] of “Fine Detail” is similar to “Standard” but the default [Contrast] is set lower than “Standard”. “Fine Detail” has Sharpness’s [Fineness] and [Threshold] both set to the minimum of [1], so even thin and low contrast edges can be sharpened to produce an image emphasizing fine edges and patterns. Unlike “Neutral” and “Faithful”, “Fine Detail” is intended for images that will be used straight from the camera, without post-processing (however we suggest you to take RAW images to enjoy the maximum post-processing flexibility)."
Think of changing to fine detail as clearing/cleaning your palette, wipes the slate clean. Then, dialing in some mild +1 color saturation and +1 color tone afterwards to bring back the traditional Canon vivid / pop likeness. Feel free to adjust the sharpness as desired. But, fine detail, is a very custom picture style designed for reproduction purposes. The differences between it and standard are minor, but, then again, so is the changes from the G9X to G9X II, very subtle, yet very difficult to mimic as you're discovering. If it still doesn't give you the look you desire, I'd recommend some experimentation. If you like the G9X look, which is cooler, try landscape as a base, and alter the sharpness as desired, or once again fine detail, but don't add saturation or tones. The DIGIC6 in the G9X is cooler then the DIGIC7 in the G9X II, if that's the look you're going for. Landscape emphasizes blues and green for example. It's not just WB you're fighting here, it's an updated JPEG engine really, but that's what picture styles are there for, to fight back.
