Upon reading a bit more into things, I see the Sigma is DC lens which is equal to a EFS lens.  Nothing wrong with this and I never was the type to be sold on the idea that you should buy lenses based on if you ever go FF later in the future, but just throwing that out there if it matters.  You cant go wrong with either so I think just jump on one.  put the features in order of what you need/want most.  But if video is in the mix, 35mm for sure is the best because IS makes a huge deal for handheld video.
