Panasonic G7 - can't find option in the camera manual

I have been told that the G7 camera can do what I'd call 'Live View' (Panasonic might calls it something different).

It's when you see the exposure in the VF/Monitor that the photo will the result of the photo. For example if you don't have a long enough exposure then the photo will look dark. I want to see this darkness in the view finder or cameras monitor before I take the photo, so I can adjust for the correct exposure.

At the moment the picture in the VF/Monitor  is bright all the time no matter what the exposure settings are. There must be an option to change this.

Where in the camera manual would I find this option, or can someone please tell me what to do on the camera to change to 'Live View'.

Brian
