Batteries for old cameras
1

It seems that each time a new camera is produced there is a different rechargeable battery for the camera. All my cameras take different rechargeable batteries.
I'm wondering how long manufacturers produce camera batteries for before you find that a certain battery is no longer available for an older camera. Has anyone had this problem?

Rechargeable batteries seem to last a long time I've been recharging my Smartphone battery every day for 6 years and it's still going strong. It gets down to 30% before I recharge it. I read that it pays to recharge a battery at least once a year when not using electrical gear.
