A7r3 pixel shift compared to sdQuattro.

IQ wise I'll still take Sigma. 42mpix is still not enough to match Quattro detail. I think the old 36mpix a7r sensor was actually better than the newer one for IQ. That is the same sensor used in the Pentax K1.

First a Pixelshift image of a stump:

Sony A7r2 pixelshift image 4 shots f5.6 8 seconds each. iso 100

Sigma sdQuattro x3i 8 shots f5.6 all processed in spp iso 100

Sony single shot f8 2seconds iso 100

Sony pixelshift image 4 shots f8 2 seconds iso 100

Sigma sdQuattro f8 1.6 seconds spp: exp+.5 sharp -1 then sharpened with Iridient Reveal 60 100 25

Sigma sdQuattro same image as prior spp exp+.5 sharp -1 no Iridient sharpening.

Finally here is a screen grab from Faststone of the last two images with the Iridient sharpened on the left and the original on the right. The only difference between them is the Iridient sharpening.

spp -1 sharpening followed by Iridient Reveal on left spp -1 sharpening alone on the right.
