Simple panorama bracket

I made a simple bracket for single row panoramas as follows:

Bought a generic L-bracket:

Unscrew to separate the two parts, then make a "bridge" piece from 2mm aluminium, with a fold for ridgidity:

and join together:

Mount on tripod:

with camera attached:

The only critical dimension is the length of the bridge piece, or more specifically the offset it provides. This is determined by trial and error so that parallax errors are eliminated. There are numerous articles on the web about how to do this. I used the base of the bracket and the camera in landscape orientation:

This bracket is not adjustable, it is specific to this lens and camera.
