How are you aware of this?

Hi all,

I am currently aware that older lenses are capable of producing '3D' life like images through these methods:

Where have you seen these "3D" lifelike images? Who or what has convinced you that only older lenses can do this?

1) Less elements to reduce internal reflection, improving colour

2) Leaded glass elements to increase refractive index and reduce number of elements

3) No plastic aspherical elements which really flatten images

and more, but can anyone give examples for CANON that really shoot with lots of character?

(By that I mean ability to render depth and tonality very well)
