New lens for Paris/street photography

Hi everyone,

I’m heading to Paris this upcoming May and am looking to get a new lens for my d7200 prior to leaving. I currently have a tokina 11-20 f2.8, a Nikon 55-300, and a kit lens that came with the camera. I’m looking to get a prime lens around $250 geared towards street photography and portraits, however I need some input and recommendations. First, is a new lens needed? Or will the Tokina be usable for street photography? Second, should I decide to get a new lens, would a 50mm or 35mm be better suited as an all around kind of lens? 50mm strikes me as being more geared towards portraits and less so towards general street photography on a crop sensor.

Thanks and looking forward to your responses.
