1st shots with new Aquapazza housing for DP0 Quattro
3

1st dive..I used twin Ikelite DS125 strobes. DP0 is 14mm x 1.5 crop. This is one very nicely designed housing and the only one for the DP Quattro line that I am aware of. The camera just slides in and no screws/bolts etc as the back fits perfectly. The housing has a double o-ring seal which is marketed as being safer than a single one. Normally it is set up for Inon lighting. I bought a Canon-to-Ikelite adapter and works fine but no TTL. Everything is very compact and tight fitting. And very light weight.

Given it is new and the tight fit, it is impossible to say yet how it will wear. I am very pleased at the moment.

Attached are a few shots from the dive yesterday. I do most of my diving from the shore outside of the small boat harbor (Honokohau Harbor) in Kona. Tigers visit on a regujlar basis. This last dive I had an 8-foot well-fed tiger swim by me while photographing the moray eel. Usually they will cruise back but not this one.

Although the eel and tire shot would normally be a throw-away, with the garden eels in the back I decided to keep it.

Sigma dp0 Quattro
