Noise at higher ISO levels on M43 cameras

I don't own a M43 camera so I'm posting this discussion to find out more about a possible problem with M43 cameras after looking more closely at the Panasonic G7 camera.

From the example photos taken from this camera that I found on DPreview there seems to be a problem with noise if the ISO value gets too high. I know all digital cameras have this problem but it seems more noticeable on the G7 camera which is a M43 camera.

Is the noise a problem for all M43 cameras if so then maybe it's a case for making sure the ISO does not get too high,  which means a slower shutter speed in low light conditions.

I would love some comments on this please.

One other thing.
I wanted to take some test photos with the Panasonic G85 camera in a camera shop but when I went to use my SD card in the camera it refused to store photos telling me that the card was the wrong format. I had also tested the Panasonic FZ1000 using the same SD card a short time before trying the G85 and had no problem in having photos I took in the shop stored on this card. Does the G85 require that the card be formatted first?
