I'm thinking of getting a G80/85 to add to my G6.

When I tried it in a local store I was surprised it didn't have a dedicated exposure compensation control in the same way that my G6 does.

I really like the ease of access to the control on the G6 and wonder how people set up

exposure compensation on their G80/85.

I don't want to have to take my eye from the camera to be able to use it.

All suggestions much appreciated

Thanks

Does G6 have a dedicated dial for this?

I use the default configuration: press exp.comp. button on the top (which can be reassigned to some other function) on the top of camera and then use the rear dial; the front dial is left to be used for flash exposure compensation. I do this without taking my eye away from the viewfinder, you get used to hitting that button without looking.

It would be nice to have a dedicated dial for exposure compensation though.
