Wish list for 2018?

I wish for a new Olympus pro camera with drastically reduced menu complexity, kind of supplying a digital version of the basics for the photographer. Like the OM-3 or maybe the OM-4 was. I am a photographer and use only a fraction of the features that the OM-D E1 MK II offers. The rest of the features are simply in the way for me, I constantly have to remind myself where certain features are stashed away in the menu system.

Just give me the basics, shutter priority, aperture priority, manual, exposure compensation, spot metering, matrix metering. The rest of the hoopla can go into cameras for the space age videographer/photographer or those who are more interested in histograms and browsing menus than actually photographing with sound knowledge of the basics of photography.

Oh yes, one territory I'd like to see significant improvement is AF. So that my single point AF would be able to pick out that little bird in the maze of branches in the bush without hesitation. Same applies to continuous AF. Improvement needed for nailing the subject and tracking efficiently. Yes I know, so and so has excellent images to prove that he/she can do that with the present system.

Well, I do not care about so and so and his/her extraordinary success. I am a forty plus year veteran of professional background and I find that the AF in my OM-D E1 MK II is still behind that of my Nikon D500. When I pair the D500 with a 500mm f4E Nikkor it is quite close to "perfect". I'd like my OM-D be as close to perfect with the 300mm f4 Pro, or maybe even beat the D500  by a good margin. I'd like to retire that D500 and use the Olympus exclusively for nature photography. It has won the "weight and sturdiness battle", now it would have to win the "AF battle" and the "simplicity battle" to meet my desired feature set.
