I have a bunch of SB-15, and those can be had very cheap on Ebay. They are not iTTL, but you can use them by setting the camera to full manual as in a studio. You can also use the built-in calculator to determine the aperture and distance. But also, since the SB-15 has a photocell, you can set the camera to A mode and within the indicated range, the photocell and thyristor will do their magic.
