Leave all that gear at home and pack a Ricoh GRII

I might consider something like that, except 28mm EFL is not my favourite (although I did survive with it for several years using the FT kit lens), and I don't think I could do without an EVF for any serious photography. I do have two small Oly compacts (one waterproof) that I can use as a pocketable option, and they are ideal for travel as they charge by USB, something I wish my other bodies did.

I thought the same regarding the viewfinder for a while but I think an EVF is not a requirement for serious photography.

There is something very refreshing about travelling super light (pocketable, no bag light). Not everyone wants to do it (especially with nothing but 28mm) but I like the way it strips away everything, changing lens, bags, gear, etc and lets focus solely on your surroundings.

Love it!

Worth doing every now and again.
