D850 photo thread (let's see those AMAZING photos you are taking!)

Yeah, something isn't right there. I tried to reconcile these with samples from DPReview, not event close, although different lighting can skew the results at the same ISO. Maybe they are massively cropped?

Her eyes are amazingly sharp but her lips and that bull ring in her nose are quite fuzzy. On purpose? Also did you use live view and eye detection?

Here's my first shot at a manual focus stack on my D850 with Voigtlander 125/2.5 APO. I shot 10 steps (missing a couple since it's just a test); all are OOC shots merged and blended in PS CC 2018. Took about 20 minutes from the first shot to saving as a JPG for this thread.

(NOTE: EXIF is correct except for the FL... forgot to change for the non-CPU lens. Also, I see I nudged the top (merged) layer to the right before saving out.)

I found a fox this morning while out scouting for the Snowy Owl I have heard is in the area. This one was captured from the best blind ever invented, a Ford F-150 4x4. He was smelling something and not as shy as usual. Too close to get the entire fox in the frame. Handheld on the window, 1/2000, f7.1, auto ISO - 4000, +2/3 ev, 500 F4 E, D850.
