Flexibility and the UV/IR blocking "dustcover"
3

I have removed the said dust-cover from the SD14. No more worrying about strong greens or yellow casts for me.

So now the SD14 shoots "full spectrum" unless I put a filter on the lens. I also have various IR filters - 700, 850, 950nm. So there's some flexibility there right away.

I also get some flexibility in spectral response by owning two UV/IR blocking filters - the one blocking more spectral red than the other.

Gary Radford has posted the use of an orange filter to more closely simulate a known Geographical Standard which, of course, I've forgotten!

Carl Schofield has posted some shots using a Kolari visible light filter - so as to avoid messing with the dust cover too much.

I'm wondering what other filters, if any, might be good for other effects.
