If I really wanted to pare down, I'd seriously consider the following.

• Panasonic LX100
• Oly 40-150 f/4-5.6
• Your current body
• Optional: Either Oly 17mm f/1.8 or PL 15mm

This has a few advantages.

- LX100 is tiny, light, excellent lens, wide aperture, very solid
- Two bodies means you have a backup
- You can also leave the 40-150 on your Oly body, instead of switching lenses
- All of this will fit in one tiny bag for carry-on
- Reasonable cost

The only drawback IMO is that you have to travel with two battery chargers and/or mismatched batteries; and that you'll deal with two different menu systems.
