Re: Compact kit with best IQ for travel?

I travel a lot and try to travel light. However I choose picture quality so comparing to other m43 I carry with me the best of Olympus. I allways have my em1.2 with 12-100/4 lens. Yes its much bigger than em5 or em10, but its worth it. For my purposes. The 12-100 lens is big, but very sharp and versatile. I cant go anywhere without it. I usually also bring my 7-14/2.8, which also is a great lens. However I have my fight with flares in sunshine and strong light. Depending where I go, I bring other lenses too, especially where there is animals or birds. I also sometimes bring my GM1 12-32, but I dont use it much because there is no viewfinder and its not easy to use in sunlight. And pics isnt up to the em1.2.

Why I do not use fixed lenses? I like the flexibility with zooms. I got 17/1.8 but hardly use it. I even sold my 15/1.7. The em1.2 and pro lenses are weathersealed and the good stabilizing abilities together with 12-100 is something I really value. I never carry tripod on travels, its not needed.

Comparing to others who brings CaNikons its much lighter. Sony A7 family is an option, but I still keep to m43 family.

I rather look at my other luggage when I travel. Light clothes, easy dry, merinowool and not more than I need. I use iPad Pro 10" coz its convinient and lightweight. I am no Apple fan, but its ok to use.
