Camera Suggestions

Hi all,

Read through few useful threads here and need some suggestions.

Am a amateur diver who's learning to take underwater pictures. Have been a casual shooter using gopro action cam.

In order to achieve better image quality, which of the following is a better choice?

1. Continue with action cam but probably add on dive torch for better lighting.

2. Get an used compact Canon S100 with underwater housing off the shelve. Is this a good camera to start with or the image improvement is just marginal being 12MP.

3. My dad owns a Sony A6000 with kit lens, I just need to purchase a underwater housing with dive torch for learning stage. Is the kit lens good enough or should i T loan a 35mm F.18?

I am leaning towards option 2 or 3, need some kind advice here.

Thanks

Eric
