I also like my GF7. I've never used a GM1 and thus can't compare, so in my case ignorance (of any relative deficiencies of the GF7, that is) is bliss. I find the tilting screen on the GF7 to be useful, and would miss it if I were using a camera such as the GM1 without an articulating screen. That said, I did briefly own a GX1 with optional tilting viewfinder, which I found almost as useful as a tilting or swiveling screen.
