Xt2 manual focus aids behaviour..

is there anyway to change the behaviour/nature of the manual focus aids in the xt2?

currently you get a big darkish box with a series of horizontal split images centre of frame,   When you are NOT pressing the shutter release button...  press it half way and it disappears....  leaving you with a mild ground glass (you also lose the histogram....)

frankly,  the big box is too dark,  the split images is horizontal and difficult to use in many cases if the subject is dark etc...  and having it and the histogram disappear when the shutter is half pressed makes zero sense...

what would be nice is the ability to choose when it was on... (as well as the histogram)  as well as having some options on the split, or vertical or horizontal or better yet at 45’...

its also way to dark...

another good option would be to have the chosen focus point illuminated and then turn green when focus is reached...  all the time on the mild ground glass....

as it is now,  the xpro is better imho for manual focus..
