MacBook Pro color calibration settings?

Hello everyone.

The Spyder5 software recommends target settings of 6500K, 120cd/m2, and Gamma 2.2.

1. Are these the ideal target settings for the most accurate retouching of photos (web and print) on a 15-inch MBP 2017?

2. If not, what are the ideal target settings?

This is my first time attempting to get accurate color reproduction on my laptop. Any and every advice is welcome. I'd love to read/watch relevant materials on the web if you can recommend any. Still a bit confused as to how brightness settings affect post-processing, and what the ideal brightness settings (and room lighting settings) should be.

Thank you.
