A question regarding clarity slider on two different camera RAW files

I notice with my 24MP Nikon D5300 I only ever need to go up to about 30% with the clarity slider before it looks too much.

With my 16MP FujiFilm X-100 T, it often can take up to 50% or more (but actually looks good.)

Is this normal?  Is it down to the extra megapixels  ?

It doesn't actually matter or bother me, I'm just curious.

Cheers.
