W-Tianya XS Pro 1 UV filter - A very cheap option.

There is an older thread about this filter, but I am not allowed to respond to it because it has been inactive for awhile, so I thought I would start a new one sharing my experiences with this filter and inviting anyone elses - the older thread did not have a lot of useful information or any good side by side comparisons.

I bought this filter for my sigma 150-600 - being 95mm all the other filters I could find were very expensive. For a tenth of the price of the next cheapest option I found this w-tianya, thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but it seems to be a decent filter. I can't notice any degradation in sharpness or changes in colour.

Here's a side by side comparison. The top has no filter, the bottom does.

Top - filterless. Bottom - Tianya UV filter

And here is an approximate 200% crop. Top with no filter, bottom with filter

200% crop. Top no filter, bottom Tianya UV

I'm not very experienced with filters, but I can't imagine results being much better. Anybody else have any experience with these? Do these results actually look good or do my eyes just suck?
