First time using shoot through umbrella

Hello!

I'm looking for some basic advice for my first family shoot using a shoot through umbrella on a stand.  I'm using a D7200 in commander mode to trigger my Yongnuo 565EX strobe and a Sigma 17-50 f2.8 lens (could possibly use my 70-200 f2.8 but not sure I have the physical room inside the home).

I'm mostly interested in my manual  camera settings...  I'm very comfortable shooting in manual, but i'm not 100 sure good starting points for the flash settings (TTL or manual output) as well as aperture/shutter/ISO.

I'll be shooting 3 kids...individually, and as a group all indoors.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
