Getting a correct light reading 5d mark 3?

I am trying to work out, why my photos are looking under exposed when put on the computer, as well as with the histogram on my camera, though on the actual camera playback review to see the photo they are looking fine exposure wise.

Is there something i can do, to get a truer reading of what i am really looking at, as its a bit frustrating to always have to pick up exposure in post.

This is what i am seeing once downloaded. settings. f2/2, 1/640, iso 100

Thankyou

Canon EOS 5D Mark III
