Hi Folks,

Every time I think I am uniquely screwed up, I post some thoughts on the forum and usually find a fellow gear head in the same boat with me,......

I recently bought a second G85, though I don't remember why? Backup? Well, that made my G7 expendable. The G85 came with 12-60mm and 45-200mm lenses.

So, in a burst of practicality, I decided to eBay the G7 and either my 45-175mm or 45-200mm, plus the 12-60mm. Well, I did get the 45-175mm and 12-60mm on eBay.

I have been using the G85s daily and enjoying them. But when I picked up the G7, I realized how much I liked it and how light it is. I couldn't bring myself to sell it so my 100-300mm has a permanent home on the G7 now. The difference in weight between the G7 and G85, believe it or not, is noticeable around the neck!

Surprisingly, my wife is supportive of all my nonsense. When I told her I was going to keep the G7, because it is lighter than the G85s, she said,....."I think you should,..." Wow, what a girl!

Now all I need to do is figure out why I need a Pany G9. Any suggestions appreciated.

Jack

Yes. Sell it at and get a Sony RX10 IV. You're life will be simpler and your pictures better. Seriously. Nothing that camera cannot do that all the gear you listed above can.
