Question on Color profiling single display shared between PC and laptop

So I have the Xrite X1 Profiler and have a laptop and now a desktop that I'm using for photo editing.    Both machines will use the same display (although I will use the desktop more than the laptop, as the laptop will primarily be for when I travel).  I have profiled the laptop screen for when I'm traveling, and now it's time to Profile the main screen that will be shared between the two computers.

Can I profile on one machine and use the same profile on both computers or should I run the profiler separately on each machine?  The video cards are different on each machine, so I'm not sure how much difference that will make, if any, in the profiling process (the laptop has integrated Intel 620 graphics and the desktop is currently using a Quadro 2000 graphics cards--neither is all that great, but I need the quad-core functionality of the desktop for photo editing, although the laptop does work in a pinch; i just can't multi-task on the laptop when photo editing in LR).
