Resolution of the display screeen when using Lr6

My PC and its screen support 3840x2160 pixels which my RAW shots from my A6500 fully utilize of course.

This gives me much detail when doing PP in lightroom and plenty of room to crop from the 6000x4000 pixel size of the originals.

However I often think that my shots are not sharp as a consequence.

My finally kept shots are usually displayed in my home on a separate 3840x2160 pixel screen, but I see that screen mostly from a distance of a few meters and THEN everything looks very sharp indeed.

I do wonder if I should set my working screen where I do my PP jobs at a lower resolution.

So is the highest resolution setting a wise one for PP work?

Or should I buy new glasses?

Thoughts?

Peter
