There is also a setting where you can adjust the white balance by temperature but I still need to learn more about this. I suspect professional photographer use this setting.


K stands for Kelvin, named after Lord Kelvin, the scientist who invented the method. A search will give you more info. I use K settings as a way to control WB more subtly than when using the standard manual WB options on my camera. Everyone’s taste somewhat differs, of course. Experimenting with it will bring interesting results.
