Two cameras or two lens on holiday, which gets used the most?

If I was to buy two cameras for my holiday (touring Great Britain) it would make sense to put more money into the camera I'm likely to use the most. I'm thinking that photographers would use a 3x lens camera more than a super-zoom (10x-30x) camera but I could be wrong.

The idea was to take a small super-zoom camera and a 3x zoom (low light) camera  with me.

on the 3x zoom cameras the zooms usually range from 24-70mm and 28-80mm. Which might be better or does it not matter that much?

I hope to photograph landscape (such as the Scotland hills), buildings (such as castles in England and Scotland) and inside some of the museums and famous buildings in London.

Also I'm considering 1 camera and two lens. In all cases the camera and lens has to be small such as size of the Sony RX100 cameras.
