Backing up photos to Google Photos with the new Backup and Sync app on Windows?
I've been using the Google Photos app on my Windows PC for the last two years or so to automatically upload all my photos to free Google Photos storage (I know about quality loss, but it's a free backup).
Now my app automatically updated itself from "Google Photos" to "Backup and Sync" and I can no longer find the option to choose the folders that I want to back up to Google Photos without also backing them up to my paid Drive storage.
In the Preferences I can "Choose folders to continuously back up to Google Drive " and then I can select an option to "Upload newly added Photos and Videos to Google Photos". But how do I choose folders to upload photos from without also uploading them to Drive?
Has anybody else faced this problem with the new app?
P.S: I searched this forum and did a Google search, but it's very hard to find anything relevant because all the keywords related to this search are so generic.
