I just ordered a refurbished T7I to replace my 650D. Are there features on the T7i I should be aware of that aren't on the 650D? Also, I was surprised to see that the size and weight of the T7I are a bit less than the 650D, which is always welcome.

Congrats S_A'. That was a great deal on the T7i.

The main improvement that affected my own shooting when upgrading from the T4i to a camera with a Dual-pixel sensor (70D in my case) was the vastly improved video and live view autofocus. It literally changed how I used the camera. Those modes went from being erratic, slow, and in the case of video often impossible, to being just an absolute joy to use. I'll never buy another camera without DPAF (was so glad that the M5 mirrorless debuted with it too).

So enjoy your new camera. Pick up some more STM lenses if you haven't already (they are just awesome on these new cameras!). And happy shooting!

edit: Oops I see that you're already heavily invested in these great little lenses.  I bought the 70D with the 18-135 STM kit lens and have really enjoyed its versatility as a walk-around lens.  And it's just KILLER for video.  R2
