Street Scenes from Phnon Penh, Cambodia
1

I was in Phnom Pen the end of September and did some street scenes using my Fuji Real 3D W3.

It had been awhile since I used it and seemingly forgot some of the basics like how easy it is to stick a finger in front of the left lens or that you have to be careful to keep the camera level. I hope you can enjoy the cross eye images anyway.

Gold is used as a walking bank deposit so gold shops are everywhere.

The climate is hot so drinking lots of liquids is important. Drink stalls are everywhere.

Like I said, lots of drink carts. This one specializes in teas and coffees but sells bottled drinks as well.

There is fresh fruit year round, in this case coconuts. The coconuts are usually chilled, the top taken off, and a straw inserted for a refreshing drink. The meat can can be eaten or used in cooking.

Pealed and cut up sugarcane is like candy.

It is usually cheaper to buy a quick meal from a street vendor than making one yourself. This vendor sells soup, some of which are excellent, some of which aren't.

More street food, including deep fried prawns and bunches of small shrimps. I don't know what the deep fried "sticks" are but they could be anything from fish to taro.

If you don't have a car the common ways to get around Phnom Pen are by motorcycle taxi or by tuk tuk taxi, and they are everywhere. This group was right across the street from the Central Market.
