One From Pentax Film Days
5

This was taken at Hovenweep National Monument in southeast Utah in August 2005. It was the last time I used film. The camera was the superb Pentax PZ-1p, and the lens was the superb FA 20-35 F4, with a red filter and Fuji Neopan 100. The film turned out to be surprisingly grainy, and my Nikon scanner could not capture all the shading in the clouds. Still, it is one of my favorites. The structure dates to the 13th century.

Right behind me a summer thunderstorm was closing in. I had to run for cover.

Edit: The exif says "Nikon." Ha! The gear was all Pentax, except for the filter.

Joe
