3d model with photocamera
Re: 3d model with photocamera
AgiSoft Photoscan is the way to go for photogrammetry sofware. It actually works extremely well and the work flow is not too difficult. There are some online resources for using the software. There is a method (best practices) to taking photos of objects or subjects to get good results. The Pro version is expensive but is required if you want to tie your 3D scene to real world geographic coordinates. It is mind blowing that the software can generate a highly accurate point cloud from photographs and use the photographs to drape the textures/colors. Real life 3D models. I use it for archeological sites so I also use a pole mounted camera with Canon camera connect to capture many of the photos in a series. It truly rocks. Greg
