Re: Feedback wanted - 18-150 vs. 18-55 + 55-200 combination

I have been using the M5 with the efm 18-55 and a couple of efs stm lenses with the adapter. The 18-55 is a warranty replacement for the original which was quite decentered between 28-40mm. I wasn't planning on buying any more lenses, however, when the refurb sales started I purchased the 55-200mm, which is not quite as good as the 55-250 stm at 200mm. But it makes a light kit. Then the super sale hit the refurb 18-150mm at $259. I just ordered one to see if it makes the grade. If it's acceptably sharp at f8 without any decentering (too common in my experience), I will keep it and the others. The resale is probably quite low and I always believe in carrying a spare lens or two on a trip for failure replacement. These lenses are so small that packing a replacement is no problem. Now I am waiting for a refurb deal on the efm 11-22 to replace the 10-18 and adapter. Note, I do have a couple of efs slr's for all the other lenses.
