X-T2 USB File Transfers super slow.

I went out earlier today and did some test shots with my X-T2 and the used Zeiss 1.8/32 that arrived today. I shot a combination of approximately 60 RAFs and jpegs. I wanted to do some film simulation bracketing and was expecting all jpegs, but I had the X-T2 set to exposure bracketing by mistake and was shooting RAW+FINE. Still getting used to the new menus.

When I came home I hooked up the same MicroUSB/USB 2.0 cable that I use for my X-E2 to the USB port on the XT-2 to transfer the new files to the Camera Uploads sub-folder in my DropBox folder on my Mac mini. The port on the mini is a USB 3.0 port. After two hours, all that downloaded was two RAFs and three jpegs and the computer still showed the download in progress. I cancelled the download and put the slot-1 memory card into the SD card reader on the mini and it took less than 30 seconds to transfer all of the RAFs and Jpegs into DropBox.

According to the manual, you can use a microUSB/USB 2.0 3.0 cable for downloads and charging but it doesn't specify anything about the difference in download speed. This is the second time that I tried a download via USB and got the same results. The X-T2 is three weeks old. Anyone else have this problem? Is it the older cable causing the delay, could there be a problem with the USB port on the X-T2 or is there a new setting somewhere that I have set wrong?
