Not irrational. I have many other Fuji X bodies as well as other systems so the cost of getting this one fixed doesn't enhance my picture taking experience much. I'd rather spend the money on something else. If this was my only camera or my only Fuji X body, then perhaps. In the US, I would estimate the price to be between 300-500 to fix it. A refurb XE2 is 350. Not much point in getting it fixed. I'll keep the money and spend it on the XT3 when it is becomes available.
