How good is the 18-55 STM Kit Lens?
I recently picked up a used 60D with plans to using it for long telephoto photos, better video recording capabilities, more reliably AF compared to mirrorless and for tracking fast subjects.
My current gear is the leica t (aps-c) + 23mm for everyday street photography + 35mm for portraits.
Upon seeing that I have no use for any L lenses or fast primes due to owning the Leica, I was planning on getting the 18-55 STM kit lens but was hoping if anyone can say if the kit lens is any good.
I understand it's a slow lens but it wouldn't be any concern to me since I would be mainly shooting in daylight or indoors with sufficient lighting. For shots requiring fast lenses, the Leica will serve its purpose.
Thanks and happy Thanksgiving!
