Don't listen to anyone who doesn't know the difference between subject quality and pixel quality, or subject quality and image quality.

Pixel quality is not a relevant metric unless you are comparing all pixels from all cameras at the same displayed size.

Image quality is not a relevant metric unless you are comparing all images from all cameras at the same displayed size.

Images from a 30x zoom may look soft at 100%, but they have a hell of a lot more detail than a crop of 1% of the sensor upsampled 1000% from 3x, from cameras with the same pixel count.

+1 but with regrets I can't give you MORE THAN +1

(maybe I can open up second-third accounts to give you more +1's ... LOL)

Learning good "subject" quality and "composition" is 1000X more important for a beginner than minor twerks in IQ differences.

A technically perfect image of a "junkyard" is still JUNK !!! (unless you are a really-really STRANGE person -- like me -- that likes JUNKYARDS -- LOL)
